Rising música Mexicana star brings emotional corridos to 25 cities from August to November, culminating with a grand finale at Hollywood Bowl.

Música Mexicana star, Junior H, prepares to grace concert venues across the nation, bringing his signature blend of melancholic artistry to welcome the approaching autumn melancholy.

On Wednesday, rising música Mexicana sensation Junior H made the eagerly anticipated announcement of his United States tour, aptly titled $ad Boyz Live & Broken. The extensive 25-date concert series is scheduled to commence on August 31 in Tinley Park, Illinois, culminating in a grand finale performance at the prestigious Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on November 7.

Música Mexicana star, Junior H has emerged as an instrumental figure in shaping and defining the contemporary landscape of corridos tumbados since his career-changing decision to sign with Rancho Humilde Records, following the tremendous success of his 2019 breakthrough single “No Eh Cambiado.” The talented artist, hailing from Guanajuato, has consistently demonstrated his exceptional ability to create chart-topping hits within the genre. His impressive repertoire includes collaborative masterpieces such as the infectious “Fin de Semana” featuring Oscar Maydon, the widely acclaimed “El Azul” alongside Peso Pluma, and the phenomenally successful “Lady Gaga,” created in partnership with Gabito Ballesteros.

However, Música Mexicana star, Junior H, born Antonio Herrera Pérez, has skillfully carved out his own unique artistic identity that transcends the conventional themes of the genre’s typically opulent, drug-centered narrative. Embracing his emotional depth and vulnerability, the artist has consciously adopted and embodied the “sad boy” persona, setting himself apart in the industry.

“They began to associate me with emotional and melancholic music, and rather than resist it, I embraced this identity wholeheartedly, allowing it to shape my artistic journey,” Junior H revealed in an April interview with The Times. “I believe it’s particularly crucial for male artists to demonstrate that experiencing and expressing emotions isn’t something to be ashamed of – we should feel free to communicate our feelings authentically.”

The regional Mexican music scene has witnessed remarkable growth since Junior H released his most commercially successful album to date, “$ad Boyz 4 Life II,” which achieved an impressive peak position at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 chart shortly after its debut. Through soul-stirring tracks like “Mientras Duermes” and “Y Lloro,” Junior H has successfully ventured into the emotional territory of sad sierreño, showcasing his remarkable versatility as a musical artist.

“With ‘$ad Boyz 4 Life II,’ we’ve been deliberately pushing ourselves beyond conventional boundaries, striving to demonstrate to our audience the full spectrum of our artistic capabilities and our ability to evolve musically. We’re not confined to any single style,” Junior H explained with conviction.

His artistic journey reached new heights earlier this spring when he delivered a memorable performance on the main stage at the 2025 Coachella Music and Arts Festival, where he was featured as one of the top-billed performers.

“Our music encompasses much more than just street narratives or narco-themed content. We create beautiful, meaningful compositions that can be appreciated as poetry,” he emphasized with passion. “Our ultimate mission is to showcase the depth and diversity of our artistic expression, proving that we’re capable of creating music that resonates on multiple levels.”
