Jonas Brothers Unveil JonasCon: Immersive Fan Experience for 20th Anniversary Tour, Celebrating Journey from Mall Performances to Stadium Shows
The Jonas Brothers have revealed that their immersive fan experience, JonasCon, will be featured at 10 stops during their forthcoming U.S. tour, the group confirmed on Tuesday. This announcement comes as part of the band’s celebration of their 20th anniversary in the music industry.
The inaugural JonasCon event, held on March 23 at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey, showcased the group’s two-decade musical journey. The experience included live performances, DJ sets, interactive Q&A panels, unexpected activations, and special guest appearances. The brothers chose one of the nation’s largest shopping centers to pay homage to their early performances at malls. Throughout the weekend, various Jonas Brothers-themed activities were hosted across New York City and at the American Dream mall, offering fans a range of city experiences.
JONAS20: Living the Dream Tour
Following the success of the first JonasCon, the brothers announced their JONAS20: Living the Dream Tour, which will take place across North America. They described the upcoming concerts as a “momentous, full-circle celebration of their 20-year evolution from mall performers to stadium-filling superstars.” The JonasCon on Tour experiences will be featured at their shows in New Jersey, D.C., Philadelphia, Hershey, Toronto, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Dallas, and Los Angeles.
For ticket holders, the fan experience will be available at no additional cost, allowing them to participate in an interactive tailgate party, according to the announcement. Activities will include Camp Rock sing-along sessions, Jonas Brothers karaoke, artistic displays, photo ops, Jonas trivia contests, and a marketplace called the Jonas Trading Post where fans can exchange custom Jonas Brothers merch.
The ticket presale for the Jonas Brothers’ 2023 tour begins on March 27 at 10 a.m. local time. The tour officially kicks off on August 10 at MetLife Stadium, marking the start of their stadium shows.
Celebrating 20 Years and Looking Ahead
While Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas celebrate their band’s 20th milestone this year, 2025 promises continued activity with various solo projects. Nick Jonas will perform in Broadway’s The Last Five Years alongside Adrienne Warren, while Joe Jonas will release his solo project, Music for People Who Believe in Love, in May.
Last month, the band shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, reflecting on their achievements, which included a “year of music” marked by group releases, individual projects, a concert album, and a soundtrack. They’re also preparing a holiday film for release later this year.
“Looking back, it seems like only yesterday we were packing our family’s mini-van with some guitars and It’s About Time CDs, heading to perform at a local mall for whoever would stop to listen,” the brothers shared in their post. “Here’s to the next 20 years, and here’s to doing it together.”
The JONAS20: Living the Dream Tour and JonasCon fan experience promise to be a celebration of the Jonas Brothers’ journey from mall performances to sold-out stadium shows. With a mix of live performances, DJ sets, Q&A panels, and pop-up surprises, fans can expect an unforgettable experience that spans the group’s entire career.
