“The ‘gothic glamour influence’ is strong, but with an elegant twist,” notes Charlie Riddle, global beauty director at Stila Cosmetics. “Expect full glam makeup looks that are both romantic and powerful.”

Riddle believes that giving your brows an icy makeover will be a cool eyeliner look that will update your style with unexpected shimmer.
“Create suggests using white or silver products with sparkle to create a frosted effect on brows. “It’s one of the hottest new makeup trends.”
Soft, Feathery Lashes
While minimal mascara looks have been popular lately, the trend is shifting towards a slightly more dramatic style for deep winter makeup.
“Feathery lashes are in,” says Henney, for an “enhanced lash look” that complements eye makeup trends.
Moody Gothic Glamour
From celebrity-favored jet-black hair to ‘dark coquette’ nails, sultry gothic glamour is clearly a beauty world staple. This winter, it continues to make its mark.
“The gothic glamour influence is strong,” Riddle notes. “Think rich, dark shades for intense eyeshadow trends — like black, deep burgundy, and forest green.”
Natural-Looking Radiance
Current makeup trends oscillate between dewy and matte finishes. Henney predicts that this coming season will favor velvety skin with a subtle natural radiance look, rather than an overly dewy look.
“Natural radiance complexions that resemble real skin with a healthy glow are trending,” she tells Bustle. “It’s all about ethereal skin and a real-skin glow.”
Deep Plum Vampy Lips
Winter is the perfect time to try deep winter makeup lip colors — and both makeup artists predict these sultry plum-stained lips will make a statement this year.
“Vampy cranberry lips are making a comeback,” says Henney. “They’re one of the biggest lipstick trends right now.”
Riddle agrees, adding that “red lips will face competition from darker berry tones and almost-black ombré lips.”
Cinnamon-Hued Blush Bronzers
The blush scene shifts from bright pinks to “blonzers” – bronze-tinted blushes.
Celebrity makeup artist Tobi Henney predicts cinnamon-toned blonzers will lead current makeup trends, emphasizing “more natural flushed cheeks with bronze undertones” as the new favorite.
Warm Metallic Eye Shimmer
While cool-toned makeup is winter’s go-to, Riddle notes that warm bronzed metallic shimmer—think gold or bronze accents—remains a popular choice for eye-catching looks that play into Y3K beauty aesthetics.
